Born in Italy, Silvia Roli discovered her passion for photography at a young age, inspired by her deep love for art and her academic background in art history. Immersed in the study of visual culture and the masters of composition, she began her journey capturing moments of authenticity and beauty in her surroundings, gradually refining her craft.

Her early start in photography, combined with her artistic sensibility, naturally led her to the world of wedding photography, where she found the perfect balance between storytelling and creative expression. FREQUENTLY ASKED Questions

WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS? I work on a "first-come, first-served" basis. I accept a limited number of weddings per year, and bookings are confirmed only with a deposit and a signed contract. Unfortunately, I cannot reserve a date without a booking deposit and a signed contract. Once you've selected a wedding package, email me to confirm all event details. I’ll send you a quote and an online contract for you to sign. To officially confirm your booking, I require a 50% deposit, with the remaining 50% balance due by the wedding day.

TRAVEL? Yes, I travel! I love to travel! In fact, I’m most inspired when photographing in new locations. Wherever you choose to marry, I’m ready and available to be there with you.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS? You will receive your wedding photos within 120 days. I will upload all the images to a private, protected gallery in my Cloud. You may also choose express delivery in 30 or 15 days for an additional cost, as indicated in the À la Carte menu.

WHAT IS A WEDDING DAY WITH YOU LIKE? My approach is focused on the essence, meaning I won't just take photos from afar. I like to have fun, and I want the same for you. I’ll move around and interact with you and your guests. I’ll remind you to breathe and enjoy the moment when everything seems to be rushing by I do my best for my clients. You’ve put so much love and time into planning every single detail, and I want to do your day justice. Since I’m not the kind of photographer who asks you to say “cheese” and smile, expect to see all your emotions captured in your collection.

DO YOU SHOOT ON FILM OR DIGITAL? I shoot in digital for the freedom it gives me to move naturally throughout the wedding, but I love to take a few Polaroids to leave you with some photos at the end of the day.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE? I chose to trust Leica, and they chose me as "Certified by Leica"—a mutual love.

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES? Providing raw files would mean delivering only half the work. My editing is what makes my brand unique, so I don’t provide raw files. My selection process is simple: I eliminate test shots, duplicates, closed eyes, and out-of-focus images, then deliver impeccable, fully edited images to my clients.

DO YOU USE PHOTOSHOP FOR THE IMAGES? While I do basic skin touch-ups and remove obvious distractions in the images, I won’t change your appearance in any way. I want you to look your best in your natural beauty, enhancing your uniqueness.

DO YOU SHOOT ONLY IN BLACK AND WHITE? No, actually, I deliver about 30% of photos in black and white, and the rest in color. But they are undoubtedly my favorites!

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? Yes, I am insured. If your venue requires a certificate of additional insurance, please let me know as soon as possible so I can provide one.
